The Government of Andhra Pradesh has raised serious concern over the growing incidence of substance abuse among students in higher education institutions. This alarming trend not only threatens the health and well-being of students but also disturbs the academic environment and jeopardizes the future of our state. To address this issue effectively, the Government has directed the establishment of “EAGLE Clubs” (Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement) in all educational institutions. As per directions of Government of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Krishnadevaraya University constituted a committee for the Anti-Narcotics club, named “EAGLE CLUB” for SKU college of Arts and Sciences to make the University Narcotics free zone for the academic year 2025-2026.
